An experienced attorney with a client-first approach, John Gerboth joins the Law Offices of Charles L. Kurmay’s practice focused on probate, trusts, estate planning, and litigation. He began his legal career in Ohio, where he handled employment, probate, and personal bankruptcy matters, earning recognition twice as an Ohio Super Lawyers Rising Star.

A native of Ridgefield, Connecticut, John returned to the state in 2015 and developed a strong focus on special education law after working with the New York City Department of Education. He now brings that advocacy-driven experience to his work assisting clients with estate planning and probate matters, while continuing to support families in special education cases and individuals with bankruptcy and employment-related needs.
